Changing the paradigm in our approaches to slums, and the necessity to consider radical responses.

I would like members of this network to have a look at the following essay that I wrote, where I envisage what would be necessary to deliver an adequate response to the challenge of slums around the world, highlighting the importance of approaching the subject from a completely new paradigm. 

I would like to know if some of the ideas resonate with group members, and if we can establish a consensus regarding some of the assumptions which I offer in the article. 

I think starting from a full problematisation of slum realities enables us to address the question at least as honestly as we can, rather than offer paradoxical recomendations.
