Sustainable cycle path makes cycling even greener (the Netherlands)

Cycling is a healthy and eco-friendly way of traveling. The Dutch organisations Tauw and Goudappel Coffeng have now developed the concept of sustainable cycle paths, making cycling even better for the environment.

Riding a bike is healthy, cheap and it does not harm the environment. Tauw has now found a way to add an advantage to this list of benefits. In cooperation with Goudappel Coffeng they have developed a set of ideas on how to build sustainable cycle paths. There are many ways in which cycle paths can be made more environmentally friendly.
